In the spring of 2020, I helped bring about a conference in which we brought together researchers from Latin America working on AI. Along with Emilia Simison, Guillermo Bernal, and Omar Costilla, we gathered funding, sponsors, and coordinated food, activities, and a program for a 2 day conference at the MIT Media Lab.
